This site was originally created by personnel in the College of Agricultural, Consumer and Environmental Sciences with considerable input from IDNR specialists. In February, 2006 the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency (IEPA) became the granting sponsor of RMMS. Match funds were provided by the Illinois State Geological Survey (ISGS).

Slope = rise/run

Slope = (760ft – 730ft)/7689ft

Slope = .003901678 * 100 = 0.39%
