• Use permanent address

• Use email address (make sure professional)

Job Objective

Job Objective• Tells the type of work you are looking for

• Be specific

• Customize to each job applying for

• Example: To obtain a part-time job as a hostess where I can utilize my communication skills

Education

List the name and dates you attended high school• List the Southwest name and City, State

• Dates: August 2005 to Present

List GPA if higher than 3.0 When you graduate, you will always list

the most recent information first

Work or Volunteer Experience

List most recent first and work backward Be sure to include:

• Title of position

• Name of organization

• Location of work (City, State)

• Dates of employment

• Describe your work responsibilities with emphasis on specific skills and achievements

• Use ACTION words

• Be concise (do NOT write in paragraph format)
