Early Assessment Program (EAP)
11th graders: Why should you take it
seriously?
26
What is the EAP ?0The Early Assessment Program (EAP) is
designed to help high school juniors and seniors improve weak areas and polish strong ones by the time they begin taking classes
0The EAP is administered as a part of the state-wide assessments taken by students in the 11th grade.
0EAP testing is not limited to CSU-bound students as 2010 marked the first year that students were also able to authorize the release of their EAP results to California Community Colleges for use in placement.
11th graders~Should You take the EAP, if
you have the chance?
YES!!!!0The EAP is considered voluntary BUT SHOULD BE TAKEN SERIOUSLY AND BE TAKEN BY EVERY STUDENT WHO HAS THE OPPORTUNITY.
How do they get my scores?
29
- Be sure to indicates that you want your EAP results released to the CSU and CCC.
- Always try to do your best as you complete these questions.
What will the scores show?
0 If your scores show that you are ready , then you will have no problem once you are accepted into a CSU or CCC.
0 If your scores show that you are conditional ready or not ready, you will need to take a course in ELA and Math during your 12th grade year that will show you are working on preparation for entrance to CSU or CCC.
