Brief research highlights: All the treatments significantly controlled the severity of AB over control. Lowest disease intensity of 30.47% and 22.80% was recorded on leaves and pods respectively with highest yield of 1208 Kg/ha. in treatment T7 (Removal of three lower leaves + foliar spray of Ridomil MZ 72 WP@ 0.2%) but highest ICBR of 1:5.21 was recorded in treatment T9 (Seed treatment with Propiconazole@ 0.1 % followed by its foliar spray @0.1%.Plan of work for the ensuing season: - concludedRecommendation based on concluded trial: Seed treatment with Propiconazole @0.1% followed by its foliar spray @0.1% at flower initiation stage can be recommended to manage Alternaria blight (Alternaria brassicae) disease of mustard. Evaluation of fungicides against major diseases of rapeseed-mustard.

Seed should be treated with Apron 35 1. SD (6g/kg seed) before sowing in all the treatments.First and second spray should be applied 45 and 60 DAS, respectively. Treatments:T1= Spray of Mancozeb (0.2%)
