Hello! My name is Mrs. Behulak I am from Boston Mass.

I am Married to Mr. Kevin Behulak.

I have one son 18 years old named David.

I love to sing, ride my bike, go to amusements parks and play

board games with my family and make learning fun!

My favorite book is “Thank You, Mr. Falker”.

I love God, my husband Kevin and son David. I love teaching

and chocolate!

Hello Behulak’s Busy Bees!

Welcome to 2nd Grade! ☺

Hallway Behavior1. Always keep hands crisscross behind

your back with eyes straight ahead

2. Walk single file with 1ft space between

you and your classmate.

3. Be quiet at all times to hear teacher’s

directions and to be courteous of other

students working on school campus.

4. Walk like scholars with heads high and

moving at a safe pace.

Cafeteria Behavior

1. Enter the Cafeteria quietly and line up orderly to get your

lunch. Wait patiently for your turn and walk directly to your

assigned table.

2. Home lunch students go directly to assigned table.

3. Keep your hands to yourself and do not share food unless

given permission to do so.

4. Be respectful at all times to other students, teachers and

lunch workers and follow their directions.

Restroom Behavior

Restroom breaks will be after special area and

lunch and before dismissal if needed.

Line up according to your class number.

Use the restroom quietly and swiftly respecting the

students waiting in line. Use the 1.2.3.4. rule: “Go,

Flush, Wash, Leave”

Always remain silent until we are back in class.

Turning In Papers

Morning Green Folders: Go to your desk and take out your folder until

your row is called to place it in the black bin.

Backpacks: Take out your lunch and snack then place on top self then

place backpacks standing in bins or laying on shelf neatly! Classwork:

Should be neatly placed in black subject rack or collected by the teacher

when directed.

Unfinished work: Any unfinished work will be placed in the green make-

up work file box to be completed in a make-up center, or during free

time.

Pencil Sharpener

Pencils will be pre-sharpened by an assigned pencil sharpener and

located at your tables and centers.

If you should need another pencil raise your hand and silently use the

pencil signal and it will be replaced.

No pencil sharpening during seatwork time!

Restroom

Cross your middle finger over your pointer finger. Raising your hand in this

way lets me know you are asking to go to the bathroom.

Water

This is the sign for “water” we use this secret signal because the three

fingers look like a “W” for “Water.”

Let’s try it!

Need a Tissue

This is the sign for “tissue”.

In my classroom, students raise their pinky in the air to let me know

they need a tissue.

Show me now!

Need a Pencil

Signal to use to ask to get a new pencil or sharpen a dull pencil.

A fist in the air is the signal I use in my classroom.

Ready let’s do it!

Stop

This is the sign for “stop” now.

My signal to use when trying to eliminate an unwanted classroom

behavior or disruption.

Students may use this signal if another is bothering you.

Do it firmly but lovely and quietly!

Rewards &Consequences

Rewards

• Students let’s get excited about all the REWARDS they can earn for good

behavior, effort, & citizenship.

• Earn chips for yourself for following directions & procedures and being

on task.

• Rewards include Class Recognition Awards and Certificates , Our

Classroom Terrific Kid and Treasure Box prizes.

ConsequencesI will use a red, yellow and green light stoplight pocket chart with your

names on the student stick.

Our goal is for all students to stay on green all day for following

classroom rules and directions displaying good behavior ☺

You move to yellow for 1st warning of misbehavior and to red for 2nd

warning of misbehavior. Refer to classroom rules on board.

Consequences include lose of recess, time-out, no tech, game or free

time , a parent phone call or report to the office if behavior continues.

Rewards for good behavior include homework passes, a praise report

call to parent,, treasure box, student coins and take-home certificates,

lunch with teacher and terrific kid award.
