We adopted a gram panchayat in teisipur Gp of Pipli block for a model GP for Gram swaraj campaign with assisted by Odisha Gram Swaraj Aviyan samukhya /OPDSC/Hivos India. Various meetings and demand of the villagers we felt some work is lying without support of any body from govt and other sources. It can be improve and develop for a healthy environment with cleaning and making communication facilities with their labour and contribution for the cloth for work. The villagers was decied in the pallisabha to work the road and pond cleaning in Bangarapada and podanga,Baligaon,Nirmala,Abalpur,Alisha and other villages. As per the interest the Abalpur villagers 1st ahead to bring the cloth from state office ,patrapada,Bhubaneswar for their road and pond activities. We are also interested to promote a healthy environment with people’s participation for their health village. Then we interested and contacted to Mr Suresh kumar with Lokanath Biswal and organized the field trip for his interaction with our field level workers, volunteers, members and villagers in various stakeholders. Before field visit we submitted the hard copies of freedom documents by speed post and by hand in both state and newdelhi office. Then confirmed to.After visit his trip into school, villages, meetings and encouraged to work accordingly. Then we deposited the all hard copies to the

IMPACT:• Good and healthy environment looking in the village,• Less tension on mosquitoes biting in the Anganwadi center children and
villagers,• United effort mobilized in the village-hamlets with male and female/children,• Interest increasing among the villagers,• Impossible word would changed the voices among the villagers and women,• Cloth for work is really essential for poor families into their community works,• Better coordination and motivation in the families with other stakeholders
CASE HISTORY:BANGARAPADA village is really neglected in the Teisipur GP from a long ago.The villager having 35 households having 110 people living with male-50 and female-60 and identified 15 BPL families in this small village. They have no road to their hamlets. They used their canal as foot way for their houses. They are nearest to NH-203 highway and see to all officials and PRIs.But they did not got their road and pond facility since last long ago. After the interaction of pallisabha by Gram swaraj campaign by freedom we came to know that they are interested and requested to a connecting road to their village and make a pond for their daily uses, need a school or anganwadi for their village children. But it goes to all facilities to nearest village to Podanga due to no voices and
unity from their village.WM is simple and SC having low voice and fear to obc and general caste people and political leaders. They could not eligible to start the road, now our interaction was encouraged and demanded to make a road by our other linkage agency” GOONJ” for cloth for work for their village reconstruction and cleanliness activities. They realized and shared by Goonj state program officer mr Sureshji on dtd. 6th Feb’11 at Podanga anganwadi center hall with 5 village focus leaders. Then decided to start their works in their respective village demand ie. Pond cleaning, road making and repairing etc. Then started their works and eligible to get the cloths for themselves with all house members.Abalpur and local people interested to collect the cloth from Bhubaneswar office and distributed the cloth with selection and prepared a list with their villages. It was really changed the scenario for their better living and communication for bringing the positive attitude for collective effort in the areas. It was spread the messages to all villages in 19th February 11 in our gender equity program with 72 village focus leaders on it.All are interested to work on it slowly in their villages.I hope,it will great change in future for our Goonj partnership for effective and organized effort in the future programs.Today we are going to distribute the cloth on their participants.
