Welcome to the 2014 Green Homes Festival from your host, EarthWays Center of the Missouri Botanical Garden

We’re excited to present our 13th annual Festival in a beautiful new setting, the grounds and buildings of the William T. Kemper Center for Home Gardening. Whether this is your first visit or you’ve attended before, you’ll discover many practical, positive options to live more sustainably every day.

Presented by Ameren Missouri and sponsored by many local partners, this year’s Festival features over 70 exhibits and demonstrations by the St. Louis region’s leading sustainability-focused businesses and organizations. Our roster of 12 fast-paced, fun ”Presentations to the People” offer ideas to help reduce our region’s dependence on fossil fuels, decrease waste, cultivate biodiversity, and improve quality of life. Take the opportunity today to talk with local experts about your specific interests, home projects, and green living needs.

Striving to “walk our talk” in every way we can, Festival sustainability practices include: Printing all materials on 100% post-consumer recycled content paper with soy inks Printing t-shirts with phthalate-free ink Reducing the Festival’s “waste-line” with recycling and composting collection Providing FREE electric vehicle charging Utilizing Missouri renewable energy certificates equivalent to 100% of the electricity used to balance the emissions from your travel to get here—courtesy of the Ameren Missouri Pure Power program Providing local, healthy, and organic food options Bike parking provided by

Please keep this program booklet as a handy contact reference for your future projects. Referto www.mobot.org/greenhomesfest for updated exhibitor lists. THANK YOU for taking action to live more sustainably—in your home and on our planet.
