People, they are a mystery; you never know their past or future and why they are the way they are.

They take time to discover. I believe that everyone you meet has an influence and inspires you in

some way even if you don’t know what that might be. So what inspires you? Scratched Surface

has been created to show case work by talented students and graduates. This magazine helps

you to discover what inspires these artists (pg 20) and brings together art and fashion,

transforming canvas to t-shirt. Crop and cut the t-shirt into your own creative design.

Throughout this magazine Scratched Surface brings you inspiring ideas, unleashing your

individual creativity.

Our feature shoot explores the customisation of the collection inspired by a simple geometric

shape, the triangle. This iconic shape has a multitude of meanings; as well as the symbol of the

Illuminati, the secret society supposedly taking over the world, it also happens to be the symbol

of Rock Nation, record label founded under Jay-Z. Coincidence? I’ll leave that up to you!

Scratched Surface magazine features a hand picked range of photo shoots, interviews and a look
