Currently in Benson Sculpture Garden there are 144 pieces of sculpture on permanent display. This extraordinary collection of art is situated around a lagoon surrounded by natural habitat areas. With the Rocky Mountains as a majestic backdrop, Benson Sculpture Garden has been described as "one of the most unique sculpture gardens in the nation".

Loveland is a Municipality in Larimer County, Colorado, United States. The city was founded in 1877 and the population of the city in 2010 was 66,859.

There is a large population of artists in Loveland, which has drawn three foundries, an art museum, and the annual sculpture shows in August. The City’s collection presently encompasses over three hundred diverse works of art valued at approximately $7.6 million dollars. Private contributions by arts organizations, citizens and artists, have donated over 72% of the value of the collection, making the City of Loveland unique among other municipalities. The Sculpture in the Park show, hosted by the Loveland High Plains Arts Council, takes place annually and exhibits artwork from artists from the United States and the world. This show is celebrating its 31st anniversary in 2014. Currently in Benson Sculpture Garden there are 144 pieces of sculpture on permanent display.
