mankind has been looking to the sky for answers

ever since the beginning

we keep looking even today

mankind has been looking to stars for directions

we keep seeking even today

Genesis 1:16God made two great lights

the greater light to govern the dayand the lesser light to govern the night

He also made the stars

If a man or woman living among you in one of the towns the LORD gives you is found doing evil in the eyes of the LORD your God in violation of his covenant, and contrary to my command has worshiped other gods, bowing down to them or to the sun or the moon or the stars of the sky, and this has been brought to your attention, then you must investigate it thoroughly. If it is true and it has been proved that this detestable thing has been done in Israel, take the man or woman who has done this evil deed to your city gate and stone that person to death.

descendants as numerous as the stars in the sky and as the sand on the seashore. Your descendants will take possession of

the cities of their enemies,

why does this matter?

Therefore, my dear friends, as you have always obeyed — not only in my presence, but now

it is God who works in you to will and to act according to his good purpose

like the Bright and Morning Star
