• Treat similar to Asthma
• Maintain Airways• Monitor Vitals• Call 000

DO• Cool burn under cold running
water 15-20min
• Remove jewellery/clothing if possible
• Cover burn with sterile non stick dressing (gladwrap)
• Treat for shock if necessary
• Second Degree or worse call ambulance
• If chemical refer MSDS
DO NOT• Put ice on it
• Put burn aid on if second or third degree
• Remove clothing/jewellery if caught in burn

– Inhalation
– Absorption
– Injection
• Signs & Symptoms– Similar to acute illness
– Nausea/vomiting
– Diarrhoea
– Chest & abdominal pain
– Breathing difficulties
– Altered state of consciousness
• Treatment & Management– Toxin known:
• Follow management plan
• Follow MSDS
– Toxin Unknown• DRABC• Call ambulance• Save sample
– Important• Do not give food/drink

• The lymphatic system relies on a muscle pump.
• 3 management plans; ice, heat, pressure immobilisation bandage.
