Border Blocks:Make: 12 fabric B, 12 fabric D, 12 fabric HPlace one fabric B and one fabric F 5 1/2” square, right sides together. Draw a diagonal line on the top square and stitch a 1/4” seam on each side of the drawn line.Cut on the line and press open. Place squares, right sides together, with fabric B beneath fabric F, butting seams together.Draw another diagonal line, opposite the first one. Stitch a 1/4” seam on each side of the drawn line. Cut on the line and press open. Square to 4 3/4”.

Make 12 of each colorway.

Center Block:Make 1Draw a diagonal line on eight fabric B and eight fabric F 2 1/4” squares. Add one square to each fabric J 4” square and stitch on the drawn line. Cut away excess, leaving a 1/4” seam allowance. (quick corners)

Press triangle outward. Repeat on all four corners as shown. Square to 4”. Make four units.

Stitch eight fabric B and eight fabric F 2 1/4” x 4” rectangles together in pairs.Use eight fabric F and eight fabric C 2 1/4” squares to make four 4-patch units. Square to 4”.Add these units to the fabric G 11” square as shown. Square to 18”.

Repeat the quick corner process using the fabric C 4” squares and fabrics F, D and H 2 1/4” squares. Make four of each unit. Square to 4”.

Stitch the fabric F and fabric H 2 1/4” x 11” strips together in pairs. Add to the block with the previous units and fabric G 4” squares as shown. Square to 25 1/2”.

Layer, baste and quilt as desired.Bind with the fabric B 2 1/2” x WOF strips.

Use the quick corner method to make eight units. Square to 4”.

Stitch eight fabric B, four fabric A and four fabric C 2 1/4” squares together to make four 4-patch units. Square to 4”.

Stitch four fabric E and four fabric B 2 1/4” x 18” strips together in pairs.Combine with the units to complete the block. Square to 32”.

Borders:Stitch the fabric C 1 3/4” x 32” strips to the sides of the block. Stitch the fabric C 1 3/4” x 34 1/2” strips to the top and bottom of the block.Arrange the border blocks as shown and add to quilt.
