Shoe Standards 2014-2015 school year
Why Shoe Standards? • This shoe standard document more specifically
defines the general shoe guidelines approved by the Providence board along with the 2014-2015 uniform policy.
• The goal is to specify available shoes that do not distract from the uniforms, while allowing families freedom to choose brands and styles of shoes for their students.
• The purpose of this document is to – guide families as they shop for school shoes – define what shoes may be worn with the uniforms,
making enforcement as straight-forward as possible
