Resume is not just one page format
giving details of a person if thor-
oughly describes a persons career
objectives, qualification, curricular,
extra-curricular activities, hobbies
and personal information.
So, resume can be thought as a
stepping stone in the placement
activity of a student. With this idea,
ETELSA (Electronics and telecom-
munication Association) came with
“Best Resume” competition held on
26/08/2016. Students of final year

One Day Workshop on “Image Manipulation
Software”
To ensure high standards of education for students,
the department offers excellent infrastructure and
resources in the form of knowledgeable faculty,
constantly upgraded well equipped and fully fur-
nished laboratories to supplement the theory
courses and a department library having a good
collection of informative books.
HOD’s Desk Our Department has student-centric approach
and aims at establishing in our students a foun-
dation for continuing learning that is required for
maintaining competency to solve new problems
as they arise and groom our students as solution
providers and not answer providers. We as E &
TC Family believes building creativity and innova-
tive ideas in students.
There was huge response for the event where almost
250 students from different colleges from the nearby
area took part in the event. On the special request of
second year engineering students, the event was made
open for SE as well.
The Interviewers for the event were from various Mul-
tinational Companies, who gave suggestions and re-
marks to the candidates for their improvement. Their
presence for the event throughout the day really
helped the students to prepare for placement in actual.
At the end of day, prize distribution ceremony took
place in the presence of Hon. Principal, Head of De-
partment, All judges, teaching and Non-teaching staff
members. The efforts taken by all including teaching,
non-teaching staff members, ETELSA and other student
coordinators were appreciated by the Hon. Principal
and training and placement Officer. Ms. Ankita Danole
from TE (E&TC) expressed vote of thanks.
“VIRTUAL CAMPUS”
Industry Interaction should continue to remain the sole responsibil-
ity of the Institution. In other words each Institution will continue
to be responsible and accountable for the Placement of its stu-
dents, for which they will perform all activities including liaison with
Corporate and Companies, Accreditation of their Institutions with
Corporate and Companies, etc. Placement is the sole responsibility
of Students. The Training and Placement cell (TnP) and various
other Faculty members only facilitate and provide the guidance to
the students.
So, the event “Virtual Campus” was organized by ETELSA under
the department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering-
by Prof. S. V. Surwase on 3rd September 2016 (Saturday). The event
starts with Aptitude test, shortlisted students from which appeared
for the Group Discussion. The qualified students from the group
discussion then face the technical and Personal Interviews.
“Tech Banner Competition” The key idea to organize such event under IETE by Prof. A. C. Pise is,
the students will be able to put any technical concept in banner. The
event is organized on 26/09/2016. Prof. A. O. Mulani, appreciated stu-
dents for their enthusiastic involvement in Technical Banner Competi-
tion under IETE-ISF. Prof. A. B. Jagadale emphasized on benefits of
students participation in such event to develop technical knowledge.
