•Use of cranes and hoists is eliminated•Use of formwork is minimal•No need to shore the formwork•Little need for finishing of the bottom of lift slab as they are smooth•Forms an enclosed space to work during rains

Limitations

•Post tensioning to be done to reduce slab thickness and increase column spacing

•Precision and high supervision is required
