What is Social Bookmarking?

Have you ever e-mailed a coworker, friend or family member to send them a link to a website you thought they might find interesting? If so, you have participated in social bookmarking. 

 Do you save bookmarks on

your computer via the bookmarks/favorite tab?

Ever wondered a way to access those bookmarks

anywhere?

 Social bookmarking allows you

to save bookmarks to a web site (Diigo) and assign "tag"

words for easy finding at a later date. This website can be

accessed from anywhere with an Internet connection.
