Social Story for Sensory Story Time at Daniel Boone
Today I am going to Story Time at the Library.
In the children’s area I can check out books, DVDs and kits before and after Story Time, or even stop to play at the Discovery Zone.
When I get thirsty, I can get a drink at the water fountain or fill up my water bottle.
If I need to use the restroom, there’s a special one just for me and my parents in the children’s area.
Just before Story Time starts, I go to the meeting room where other children and
parents come as well.
Miss Mary Lynn welcomes me to Story Time and reads stories to us.
At the end of Story Time, I stay to play with fun toys and the other children.
After Story Time is over, we all go home. I’m not sad to leave because I know that I
will come back for the next Story Time.
