ABOUT THE SERVICE Republic Act No. 7279, otherwise known as the Magna Carta for Disabled Person, expressly provides that people with disabilities shall be provided with necessary auxiliary services that will restore their social functioning and integrate to their communities. One of the auxiliary services is provision of assistive devices for the mobility of PWD’s.

ABOUT THE SERVICE Senior Citizen is entitled to twenty percent 20% discount in purchase of medicines, hospitals, restaurant, public land transportation, air and sea transportation, etc.
REQUIREMENT(S) To be eligible for a senior Citizen’s ID card, an applicant must be:
a Filipino Citizen at least 60 years old and a resident of the locality for at least 6 months

ABOUT THE SERVICE THE SOLO PARENTS’ WELFRE ACT OF 2000 is an act that provides for the benefits and privileges of solo parents and their children. The act aims to develop a comprehensive package of social development and welfare services to solo parents and their children. In order to avail that benefits and privileges, a solo parent must secure a Solo Parent Identification Card from Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office.

AID TO INDIVIDUAL IN CRISIS SITUATION (AICS) ABOUT THE SERVICE The Municipal Social Welfare and Development provides limited assistance, in cash or in kind, to individuals/families who are hampered to function normally because of socio-economic difficulties. The nature of difficulty is usually short term and emergency in nature, thus the assistance is on a one shot deal basis. This program, by the virtue of Municipal Ordinance No. 004-1994 as amended, provides for the yearly selection of eight (8) scholars for secondary and seven(7) for tertiary level.
REQUIREMENT(S)
Barangay Clearance (stating that the applicant is bonafide resident of the municipality for at least six months.
Photocopy of Form 138 (applicant has a good academic standing with a general average of 85%)
Parents with a gross income of not more than one hundred thousand pesos (P100,000.00)
Good Moral Character from the barangay captain and school

ABOUT THE SERVICE SEA – Self Employment Assistance program is the provision of Capital Assistance (tulong puhunan) or additional capital to individuals or groups who are engaged in small-scale businesses. Capital Assistance is payable for the period of one year and it can be renewed if the grantee regularly pays the amount borrowed. It is given without interest.
