SPEEDO FIT

For the Speedo Fit consumer fitness is a way of life, they are goal orientated and achievement driven. The range was designed with functionality as a key feature running through the range, balanced with an athletic aesthetic that flatters the form. Form follows function drove the aesthetic with an emphisis on slimming and enhancing the body. Graphics and seam lines work together and were considered from the start to achieve optimal results.

PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT

The S116 Pinnacle suit was designed for body position in the water and included core compression and bust support with comfort straps. I was briefed to design a suit to have an aesthetic link to the LZR X racing suits. The cross back was designed into to suit to help making it easeir to put on.I designed the range, both Male and Female to have a strong aesthetic link across the products to define the Speedo Fit handwriting and tie the range together. The ‘X’ formed the basis for the visual link through the range.
