What makes ROP unique?

ROP is the premier delivery system of CTE courses in California since 1970.

ROP Teachers are experts in the career field they are teaching with at least 5 years of experience (most have more than 5 years). They hold a CTE Teaching Credential through CTC.

ROP is a separate entity and non-contract system allowing low

cost CTE. ROP provides internship and work –based learning

opportunities through over 300 business and industry partnerships, and labs for classrooms.

Regional Courses available to all students after school.

Pathways to Success

• 15 Industry Sectors/ 58 Career Pathways • Define pathways at each high school • 2-3 well planned pathways with results at each high

school • Start middle school introductory courses/workshops • Career Fairs, College Days, Career Centers at

elementary, middle and high school campuses • College and Career Campus (ROP Main Campus)
