It isfrom you that your child will learn about what is good, bad, and unacceptable,so be careful how you conduct yourself around him or her. B2.TEACH THEM TO BE MOMMY-FREE. Face it, there will come a time when you will have to let go of your child. Helpyour child grow up to be an independent adult by giving him or her the freedomto figure out things on his or her own.3.GET TO KNOW YOUR CHILD. Spend “alone time” with your kids. Take each child out on separate dates anddo activities of their choice. You’ll discover what excites, inspires, and pleasesthem. And without ateor kuya around, they may be more willing to open upabout their concerns.4.MONITOR MEDIA. Kids’ brains are like sponges, and they can easily pick up wrong messages. Notall kiddie shows on TV are kid-friendly, and it’s your responsibility to make surethat what they watch on TV and see online are appropriate for their age. 5.ENCOURAGE, DON’T COERCE.Shoving your scared toddler toward a party clown or obliging your teen to join avolunteer activity will only have a negative effect on the child. NEED TO CHANGE?Bring a spare.
Effective Monday, November 11, students are not allowed towear t-shirts other than the prescribed PE uniform. Those who wouldlike to change after a strenuous physical activity must bring a spare PEshirt. There are available shirts in the Accounting Office, you may alsoorder if they don’t have your size.
