Star Wars

• Strategic Defense Initiative was referred to as “Star Wars” after the famous George

Lucas series.

• 1987- American Physical Society concluded “Star Wars” was impossible due

to lack of technological knowledge, and that it would take at least another 10 years

alone to find out what would be feasible
