new school term to help them re-engage with their learning.

Set some new goals.Write a letter to

yourself reflecting onwhat you are good at,

where you would like toimprove and how you

can help others.

Create an affirmationflower. Create a

beautiful piece of art todisplay in your room oraround your learning

area with things you areproud of about yourself.

Pick a new skill tolearn. Perhaps there is ahobby or sport you have

been wanting to try.Make a plan to help your

skills development.

Pick one of the followingwords... risk taker, success,

courage, creativity orpersistence. Create a mind

map using words andpictures to describe your

thoughts and feelingsaround this word.

Pick four of yourfavourite emojis. Writean interesting narrative

to go with these symbols.

Research and make ahealthy recess or lunch

option.Consider what makes ithealthy? Can you makechanges to create your

own new recipe?

Create a postcarddescribing your schoolholidays. Share it withyour teacher or a peer.

(Or send it in the mail forthem to receive in their

letterbox!)

Find a magazine ornewspaper and cut outsome pictures that showwhat you would most liketo learn about during thenew school term. Create

a collage.

Rearrange yourlearning space. Find

some inspirational quotesor pictures to put near

your space to encourageyou in the new term.

Make a playlist of funmusic. During breaktimes, have a small

dance break to help giveyou extra energy!

Design a new learningspace in your house.

What would it look like,and what furniture or

Write a list of somequestions you have foryour teacher. What are

you worried or unsureabout? What are you

curious about? Share thelist with your teacher,

bookmark. Don't forget to leavespace on the back to

record all the books youread!

Set up a reading nookor find a special placewhere you can go toread each day. This

should be a place whereyou can 'escape' into a

book, free of distraction.
