How to Add Flair in your Story:

You want to be able to visualize in your head the story.
Develop Background Knowledge
Introduce subject content (Example: Fantasy)
Make a list of character and genre traits that could be found in the story.
Give examples of other stories to help students build on prior knowledge.

Step 2- Adding Flair!
Students will go back and add in details to their graphic organizer questions.
Structure words are used to help students write with more detail.
Remind students that when writing, using their 5 senses is an easy way to add detail!
Introduce structure words: what, size, color, number, shape, where, when, background, movement, mood, and perspective
