Enabling SU Societies to engage with their members/the public through interesting video updates, adverts or event recording. Heavily subsidised.

Political campaigns, university marketing and internal university departmental advertising. Somewhat subsidised.

Offering video advert creation to local businesses at reasonable rates. Link to advertising in the Union, perhaps as an all-in-one package

Hiring time from members through freelance websites would gain experience for and produce revenue

making money

Writing for screen is different from

newspaper or radio work and requires

creative flair

Capturing the moment from every angle is the mark of

a good camera operator

The most rewarding is taking footage and turning into a polished product

Uploading, rendering, storage

and delivery is a very technical job

By the time myself and Samantha graduate, we would like to fill every position and even add a few, such as someone dedicated to equipment

Rewards for society work would be groundbreaking and this would increase retention and drive up membership

our vision

We’ll be starting on a shoestring budget, but that doesn’t mean we can’t use advanced technology

Requirements: portable machine with firewire inputs. SUCS have got two laptops capable of this

Website and social media would point to YouTube to increase mobile participation
