Hitchcock, 60, was named the 24th head coach in Blues history on Nov. 7, 2011. In 2011-12, he led the Blues to their best 10-game startunder a new coach in franchise history and the club's second best season overall (49-22-11, 109 pts). Hitchcock guided the Blues to their firstdivision title since 2000 en route to becoming the NHL's 2012 Jack Adams Award winner, the fourth coach in Blues history to recieve thehonor. Hitchcock has also coached in Dallas, Philadelphia and Columbus compiling an overall record of 576-365-169 in 1,110 regular seasongames.
