How to get to Skopje? By Bus: A number of bus lines connect Macedonia with all neighboring countries and other European cities. Buses are frequent, and offer relatively cheap fares and professional service. You can always visit the official site of Skopje’s bus station http://www.sas.com.mk/ to check for ticket prices and times of arrival/departure from any destination that connects with Skopje. Here’s a site dedicated to Skopje in general, where you can also find timetables, and other interesting information about Skopje: http://www.skopje.com.mk/angliski/megju.asp. The bus station is located next to the railway station. By Train: Regular train service connects the Republic of Macedonia to Greece in the south and Serbia in the north up to Slovenia, by an international train, operating twice daily. Stops include Tabanovce, Kumanovo, Skopje, Veles, Gradsko, Negotino, Demir Kapija and Gevgelija (Greek border croosing point), as well as a few small villages. The ofiicial site of the railway station is: http://mztransportad.com.mk/. By Airplane: You arrive at Skopje's Alexander The Great Airport. There is a direct bus line to Skopje from the airport. The buses depart in front of the international arrivals terminal and will arrive at different destinations in Skopje depending on the time the bus departs. The different points are: the main bus terminal in Skopje (International bus station), Hotel Holiday Inn, Hotel Continental, Hotel Alexander Palace . It would be the best if you catch the bus that will take you to the International Bus Station. The ticket costs 150 MKD (2,5 EUR) and can be purchased at a stand at the airport. You can find the official information about the company and the lines HERE. Here are the bus lines for 20, 21 and 22 July 2015 from the airport to Skopje Bus station:

If you want to know more about Ohrid!

Ohrid is the jewel of Macedonia’s crown. All the major attractions are located among the narrow streets of

the Old Town lined with restaurants and cafés. The lake is so large and so deep that one might mistake it

for a small sea, surrounded with beautiful beaches. And if you are a party animal and want to party until

the morning hours, Ohrid is definitely the place to be with its numerous beach parties. Because of the

uniqueness of Lake Ohrid and the city, they are part of UNESCO, as one of the few places on the list “World

Inheritance”.
