As seen from a satellite, the city of Sydney sits on a big ocean inlet extending from the Pacific into land (like a fjord) and forming the biggest natural harbor in the world.Sydney has, therefore, a lot of waterfront with many individual harbors, marinas, and beaches, offering many leisure activities. Much of the transportation is by water.
