TLC History

• The idea stemmed from the vision of three community members to form a lake-wide coalition of libraries which would support literacy efforts and share opportunities and resources.

• First meeting of librarians, Spring 2008

• Sierra Nevada College hosted two librarian luncheons, 2008 & 2009

• Currently hold monthly meetings rotating locations

TLC Provides Professional Support

• We get to know each other’s areas of expertise.

• We become familiar with each other’s library resources.

• We share our professional challenges with each other.
