● String Backpacks are the only bag students are permitted to carry from class to class.

Bring Your Own Device● Students are encouraged to Bring Your Own Device and use at

appropriate times during instruction.● Tablets, computers and chromebooks are encouraged. Phones are

acceptable, and we have 5 classroom devices available as well.● Using devices at appropriate times:

○ 1st offense-Verbal Warning from teacher○ 2nd offense-Device put in office until end of day○ 3rd offense-Device put in office and parent must pick up device

HOMEWORK & AGENDA BOOK● The homework is listed in each classroom.

● Your child should write their homework in their AGENDA BOOK EACH DAY.

● As a back-up (we are human), they can check the 6 Green Homework Google Calendar which can be found on the 6 Green Team Website and each core teacher’s website.

SIS - Check Grades● Each individual assignment is posted as well as the overall grade.

● Check weekly to keep track of your child’s grades and any missing assignments.

● Students should KEEP all assignments until they are recorded on SIS and they have tested over the material.

● If a student is absent, a zero may be entered in SIS until they turn in the work.

● LATE WORK / NO NAME WORK will NOT be entered online immediately.

Late Work/Absent Work● Late work is accepted without penalty until the Mid-Quarter (Progress Reports)

or Quarter grades

● Absent Work should be collected from the designated spot in the classroom by

that student.

○ You have the same amount of time you were absent to make up the work

■ Absent two days=Two days after assignment was assigned to make it up

○ Extended absences-please call counselor to request work to be collected and

picked up by parents/guardians
