What needs to happen first?

1. Hospital need to register for SUSP portal Cohort 1 &4 all registered!

2. Hospitals need to return SUSP DUA3. Hospitals need to submit hospital demographics

Once previous steps are completed1. Ask your SUSP hospitals to confer rights to your NHSN group if

necessary. 2. Generate a new dataset in NHSN.3. Export SSI numerator and denominator data from that NHSN

dataset.4. Upload SSI numerator and denominator data into the SUSP SSI

Data Registry.

Registration for SSI RegistryThe NPT will do this step for all hospitals. We just need some demographic info and their NHSN IDs!

Importing data into the SUSP website

Log in to the site using your username and password (https://armstrongresearch.hopkinsmedicine.org)Select My Tools, click on the Tool you want to enter data for.

To upload data, select My Networks from the gold bar, and click Upload Performance Data.

Uploading your NHSN Data

The upload status can be monitored via the Upload Queue. The status will change, based on the progress of the upload, from Pending, to Processing, and finally to a completion message indicating success or failure of the upload.Examples of upload errors can include: • the Site ID in the import file was associated with several networks for the SSI registry• the Site ID is missing• the date range is invalid, i.e. data being uploaded for a future year• an overlap in the date ranges

Uploading your NHSN Data

If there are any errors with the upload, the count under Errors Encountered will indicate the number of errors that occurred. Review your data for any corrections that need to be made and try the upload again. Use the Download Error Log to obtain detailed information.Please note that your results will be reflected on the SSI Registry for SUSP performance monitor on the following business day.
