The Tyler Rose Museum was developed to preserve anddisplay the history of Tyler’s Rose Growing Industry andthe Texas Rose Festival. The Texas Rose Festival historyand memorabilia is housed in the museum featuringfabulous costumes and items acquired since the firstfestival in 1933. The Texas Rose Festival is to this daya volunteer based organization that promotes prideof Tyler and Smith County and the history of theRose Growers Industry.
