Thank you for purchasing our Yamaha YXZ1000R Chassis Gusset Kit for your OEM Frame.
Below are pictures with locations of the pieces in your kit. Teixeira Tech recommends that the
installation of the kit be done by a professional welder for the best results. If you need more
detailed pictures that you can enlarge, please check our website under the “Installation
Guides” tab at the top of the website.
Part numbers and quantities:
Part # Special Instructions 001L & 001R Check and make sure to mount on correct side of vehicle. 001L is left side and 001R is
right side. Position top of tube ¾” behind a-arm tab. May need slight grinding.
002L & 002R Weld front part that welds to 001L & 001R ¾” above a-arm mounting tab.
003 Knock of welded nuts. Line up bolt holes and clamp in multiple locations before welding. Use new locking nuts to bolt steering rack back on.
004 Install above main tube rails for strength.
005 Install towards outside of tubing to allow clearance for body plastics
006 & 007 Weld flush to inside of tubing so that the pieces do not interfere with body plastics.
008 & 009 Install together to help with proper fitment.
011L & 011R Weld to outside of tubing. Check interference with storage compartment and oil tank.
012 May not be used on 2019 and newer models.
