Ring. The recess bell rang. All the children ran back inside after eating their lunch. 2
June was sitting inside of the classroom with her friends. She was feeling a bit gassy because of the soda she drank at lunch. 3
June was getting up to get some crayons when she burped really loudly! 4
The class started to laugh at her. 5
Junes cheeks felt hot and turned bright red. She was SO embarrassed so she started to cry. 6
hey kids! Stop laughing! Everyone burps! Mr. Conrad yelled. why do we burp? billy asked. 7
we burp because while we eat, we swallow gases and those gases are finding a way out of our mouth. Mr. conrad explained. 8
but when you burp, its always polite to cover your mouth and say excuse me. Mr. Conrad said.9
