conversation and introduce your guests• Research!

• Listen and ask questions!• Don’t overwhelm yourself trying to

connect with too many people all at once• Stay connected by getting his/her contact information

• Write personal notes on business cards about how you met the individual

• Follow up with an email or phone call• Send hand written thank you cards
