Final Exams! Final exam time is fast approaching for Primary 7

Students at Acres of Hope. This exam literally

determines if and where a student will move

onto Secondary School. This can best be

compared to going to college in the US. These

students are highly motivated to perform well

and would welcome your prayers and support for

them! Educating these children is changing their

community. Let’s cover them in prayers to do

their very best!

The Final Countdown to AOH School Certification and the P7 Final Exams Our Goal: Acres of Hope Primary School certification through the Ugandan Ministry

of Education.

Donations up to $25,000 in total given between now and Giving Tuesday (Dec. 3) will be matched locally.

2009

Pastor Geoffrey purchased a small

plot of land, trusting God to

develop Acres of Hope.

2011

A group visited Uganda and

the ground-breaking for 4 pod

houses took place soon after.

2012

Acres of Hope School classes

began under a mango tree.

2013

Temporary corrugated tin school

building constructed.

2014

First brick and plaster school

building constructed.

2015

Future home of school offices

and computer lab began.

2016

Permanent four classroom

building began. Office and

computer lab building

2017

Permanent four classroom building

completed. New 3-story building began.

2018

New 3-story building under

construction.

Complete the school washrooms $40,000

Complete a boy’s dormitory $40,000

School windows, doors, plaster, paint and

electricity $70,000

Books, desks, and tables $10,000

rates and construction costs.

Still More to be Done... In 2019 the Ugandan Ministry of Education added requirements for certification and set

a deadline for completion of October 2020.
