What will happen to the things we recycle and compost?

The things we recycle will be separated and used to make new

items.

Our compost will become mulch.

Mulch is used to cover and help protect soil.It is used in gardens, yards, and even on playgrounds!

It takes 10 weeks for our compost from school to become mulch!

Our recycling & composting at schoolis going to look different than

what you do at home. This is because we have a different company that

takes our recycling, compost, and trash & uses new machines and technology.

How is our school program different from what you do at home?
