Trophy Points 2005
As you all know, the trophy points year starts at the beginning of December to enable us to collate the results and present the awards at the annual dinner dance. This year is no exception. As in previous years, many different awards are available including the re-cently introduced ‘Perfect 10’ award.
Aimed at most motorsport disciplines, the trophies are awarded for a variety of reasons including several Committee awarded trophies. A list of available awards and how to achieve them follows.
During 2005, we will be introducing a set of ‘guidelines’ for the awards, none of which will alter how and why we present the awards but will make them fairer to all involved. More details as and when it happens!
Up to now (Mid January) I have only received a handful of claim forms, all of which from stage rally competitors. I am sure several of you out there have been a part of events that have already taken place in this year’s calendar, Grizedale Stages, Boxing Day Autotest, Christmas Stages and Jack Frost Stages to name a few.
Keep the points coming and don’t forget, get them in within one calendar month to have them counted!
See you on the events in 2005
Simon
