Headshots • Unless the shot is specifically a head/group shot, it is important that people are featured wherever possible doing their jobs.
• Please ensure that computer screens and desks etc do not have any non-work related things on them i.e. cuddly toys and personal photos. The same goes for any other place of work. De-clutter as much as possible.
• All staff should be wearing the appropriate uniform / work clothes and look smart. Generally speaking, thing like… ladies makeup done, nails done, washed / styled hair, neatly shaved, ironed clothes, dog / cat hair free clothes etc, helps people feel more willing to appear in a photo. It also helps present a better image of your staff and company as a whole.
• Please make all members of staff aware of the photo shoot (date & time).
• Members of staff who will be appearing in a photo, should have filled out and sign a supplied model release form prior to the photographers arrival. Anyone who does not sign the model release form will not be photographed.

Branding • Branding is key! Part of any marketing strategy is to raise awareness of your Company’s name and brand and the customer base for which you work.
• Where possible, all shots should feature the company logo and/or the customer logo whenever specified (The Company logo should be given priority over the customer’s).
• The logo(s) could be on clothing, stationery, vehicles, equipment, buildings, signage, products etc.

Technology• If the use of technology is an integral part of your company’s
offering to customers, it is important that shots should feature
the use of technology wherever possible. Examples of this could
include computer screens, control rooms, hand-held terminals
or other systems.
Vehicles• When taking shots of vehicles in distribution centre yards it is
important that vehicles in the livery of your competitors are
not in shot.
• Goods inwards and despatch areas often have a real mix
of different companies’ vehicles so these should be avoided
if possible or so as not to be recognisable.
• Ask the driver to use headlights if the weather is dull to give
atmosphere.
• If the vehicle has a driver in it, ensure the driver has his/her
seatbelt on – even if the vehicle is stationary.
• All vehicles are washed and clean.
