Student art & literature. The Spring Lake Collection is an anthology book that is jointly produced by the Visual Art and English departments at Derry Area High School in Derry, Pennsylvania. The idea for this book project came from the desire to showcase the many talents of our students who may not always receive the spotlight that they deserve. Our community, and our schools in particular, have many people with talents that may not be obvious at first glance. As teachers, we often see successes by our students every day that may never have another opportunity to be celebrated. This book is a chance for some of those talents to shine and to give students an opportunity to have their efforts rewarded with a professionally produced publication.
