DESCRIPTION
Volume 1: Days Gone Bye is the first volume of Image Comics' The Walking Dead that includes issues 1-6. This volume begins the story of Rick Grimes, a sherrif's deputy from Kentucky, who is wounded in action and emerges from a coma to find the world plagued by the undead. Rick travels to Atlanta to find his wife and son, joins a small group of survivors based outside of Atlanta, and tries to adapt to life in this new world.
