Smyrna Parks and Recreation Newsletter October 2020
We celebrated the grand opening of Zama Park on September
16th! This park represents the economic, educational, and
cultural relationship with Zama, Japan, that began over 30 years
ago with Smyrna's selection as home to Nissan Group of North
America's first manufacturing facility. A special thank you to
Consul-General of Japan in Nashville Kayoko Fukushima for
taking the time to join us and offer comments. We invite you to
take a moment to enjoy our video of the celebration. Zama Park
