Al and I play a game of Corn Hole.

Yuri Prasoloff and Stacey Mairs bring their compact camper (also includes sleeping).

Rita and Jeff prepared quite a “spread” of healthy food.

Paul J Wigowsky Facebook Post (August 9, 2021)

Timothy Lake is not only a place at the southern foot of Mt. Hood -- it is also a "state of

mind" (i.e. friendship, fellowship, fishing, and food). Oh, yeah -- and lots of FUN.

Masha Prasoloff, Alex Labunsky, Joe DeFrancesco, Yuri Prasoloff (and Stacey Mairs), Eric

Solo, Erin Pettigrew (and friends Donnie, Leticia), and Elsa and me (and Adolf).

The red sun in the morning was due to the smoke from a nearby fire.

The Prasoloffs (Yuri, Eric, Masha) with Al Labunsky and Stacey Mairs

Eric and Masha on their paddleboards (the lightweight blow-up kind).

The new way to have a campfire is to buy a fire pit bowl, attached to a propane tank.

Masha and Al rented a cute little camper.

Rita and jeff start preparing breakfast.

Fishing was good at the lake, and we enjoyed the "fruit" of our labor on Al's fishing boat.

He took us to the best (deep) spots.

Jeff and Rita Tiwari. Jeff entertained us in the evening with his guitar and mellow

singing voice.

Masha takes a selfie.

Cooking breakfast. Each meal was carefully orchestrated by the people who signed up

for breakfast or dinner.

Masha brought a bouquet of flowers.

Elsa, Joe, Adolf, and Paul Steven arrive on the second day (Friday).

Setting the table for a borshch (Борщ) dinner.

Erin, Donnie, and Leticia arrive later to join in the borshch and dessert (pies).

My son Paul S Wigowsky brought his ping-pong table to play several rounds with Yuri

Prasoloff.

In the evening, we sang "Happy Birthday" to Elsa, whose birthday is in August.

The morning after.

The smoke had cleared on the third day (Saturday), and we could see Mount Hood.

Hoodview campsite #41 was our headquarters.

Saturday breakfast was prepared by Al & Masha.

Sitting around the campfire and enjoying a meal.

Joe gets help from Elsa in making pasta (pesto).

Saturday night (Aug. 7) was a little wet (with slight drizzle) and we had covering during our

evening meal.

"Best Catch of His Life" (mug) says it all for Masha Prasoloff and Alex Labunsky.

Paul Steve, Adolf, and Eric prepare breakfast on Sunday.

No one went hungry during the camping trip. We had plenty of great food, thanks to the

"happy campers."

Farewell – group photo.

Thanks to Alison for these photos of the Ulrich girls (Gretchen, Wendy, Ali) & (Mother)

Elsa and I went to Timothy Lake earlier in July to scout out the sites:
