Pursue early involvement with MnDOT’s ADA Operations Unit

ADA Project Design Guide required for all projects in MnDOT right-of-way

Plan and estimate for the right fix in the scope of work

Think outside the box

Field walk required for all projects

Use Project Design Guide Level 1, 2, and 3 guidance to estimate drafting requirements

Estimate at least one-third of design time in the field

Provide at least two weeks for plan reviews

All signals must be APS-ready (i.e. all underground work) at a minimum
