Mass loaded vinyl is an unusual product that cannot be replicated by any

other product. Millions of square feet are used per year throughout the world

in construction, manufacturing, appliances, automobiles, and more.

EASY TO INSTALL

In ceilings and walls, use drywall nails, drywall screws, or wide crown staples. In

floors, MLV can be installed floating or glued down. On fences, fasten to

wood or hang with grommets to chain-link. Around pipes, simply wrap and

seal the seams with duct tape.

CONSISTENTLY PERFORMS

Most sound control products require certain joist spacing, joist length, concrete

or similar mass, decoupled surfaces, etc, to work to their full potential. Mass

loaded vinyl just works regardless of the assembly. It is not the best product for

every scenario, but when specified correctly, it performs as expected.
