Our presentation deals with the enviroments in our region.

We are going to study the trees, the plants, the bushes, and the vegetation.We have also rivers and mountains and important valleys.

THE ENVIRONMENT IN NÁJERA’S REGION

VALLEY OF THE NAJERILLA

This is the valley of the Najerilla river.

The Najerilla river flows along a valley of the same name.

It is a very nice valley in all seasons of the year.

In its course you can see some oaks and beeches, vineyards, and groves of black poplars.

The river Najerilla• The river Najerilla is a very important river in La Rioja.• This river is tributary of the river Ebro.• This is a long river, in his way crosses some towns and villages such as Nájera,

Anguiano, Bobadilla…

You can fish in the Najerilla river.There are some good trouts and some barbels.

The first village of the valley is Villavelallo.

Anguiano is famous for his dance with stilts

The monastery of Valvanera is near here.

There are some villages in the valley such as Bobadilla, Baños de Rio Tobia and Nájera , the valley´s capital.

The last villages are Uruñuela and Torremontalbo

towns and villages in La Rioja.• This river enters La Rioja after Miranda de Ebro.

The ski resort of Valdezcaray is situated hereThere is a very nice, spectacular scenery from here.
