The project is co-financed by the Lifelong Learning Programme of the European Union

TRAVORS is a transfer-of-innovation project co-financed by the Lifelong Learning Programme of the European Union.

TRAVORS brings together eight partners from five EU countries, representing government, education, non-governmental organisations (NGOs) and the private sector. This provides us with access to a wide range of complementary skills from education, rehabilitation, research, ICT, training and management.

We aim to enhance the professional effectiveness of vocational rehabilitation trainers and practitioners using innovative ICT-based distance learning combined with direct learning modes, and incorporating a self-efficacy model of training for skills. We also envisage this training will help influence the development of vocational rehabilitation systems for people with disabilities.

Our project is officially funded from October 2008 to September 2010.

TRAVORS integrates concepts and techniques from:

Psychology• Self- Efficacy• Learning Modes

Learning• Learning Needs• Skills First• Skills Acquisition• Blended Learning• Pre-requisite learning• Delegate size• Consolidation• Cohort as a resource• Evaluation

Technology• E-learning• Usability • Accessibility
