TRINIDAD Project
TRINIDAD PROJECT Copper Zone: hydrothermal breccia with clasts of K-Feldespar intrusive and
chalcocite in the matrix. There are some chalcopyrite-bornite veinlets that cut into
the andesite. Strong patches of green copper oxide (malachite and chrysocolla).
Possible upper zone of a Cu-Au porphyry at depth.
Vein Zone: Intermediate Sulfidation veins with epithermal texture hosted inside of
dacite intrusion, mineral assemblage consists of chalcopyrite, bornite, galena,
chalcocite and covellite.
Copper Zone: surface rock samples show good values varying from 0.4% to 10.5 % Cu, and 0.1 g/t to 0.4 g/t Au.
Vein Zone: rock samples from surface and adits, show silver values of high grade: 11800 ppm of Ag, also good values of copper of up to 3.92% Cu, lead values of up to 4.01% of Pb, and zinc values up to 5.28% Zn.
Geological setting similar to "intrusive-related manto-type ore body" and same to Cobriza Mine which is located 40 km to the north.
K-feldspar intrusive with chalcopyrite and
bornite disseminated and patches of CuOx.
Intermediate Sulfidation vein with
epithermal texture.
