– Natural Gas: Cyprus Heading towards a New Energy Era,

A half day Discussion Forum organized by the Cynergy partners in collaboration with the Cyprus Gas2EU Project Promoter aiming to present the strategy towards the use of natural gas by energy and transport sectors in Cyprus focusing on Best Practices followed in Greece and other European Countries

The Forum is under the Auspices of the Ministry of Energy, Commerce, Industry and Tourism and the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works

• A 2-day technical workshop at Lloyd’s Register Limassol premises, simulating in real-time FSRU operations at Vassilikos Port, while berthing at the jetty; at emergency shelter; with various tugs alongside; in difficult weather conditions etc

• Local stakeholders, specialised experts, port pilots interact in fruitful discussions, identifying risks and mitigation actions aiming at verifying the safety of operations
