Unitel family began what is today Unitel Africa Group Ltd in 1999 as a Telco Company dealing with structured cabling.
In 2003, after developing deep market understanding and local presence, the company became Kenya’s first specialized Turnkey Service Provider.
In 2010 The company started diversifying to African Markets and has Nigeria (Unitelos Communications Ltd), Burundi (Unitel Services Ltd), Gabon (Unitel Services Ltd),Uganda (Unitel Comm (U) Limited ), Ethiopia (Adiu Communications Limited) , South Sudan (Unitel Communications Limited) and Rwanda (Unitel Communications Limited).
